LLMs TXT Generator For Magento 2 - User Guide

LLMs TXT Generator For Magento 2 - User Guide

This guide shows how to set up and use Eleventex LLMs Txt Generator from the Magento admin panel.

1. What the Module Does

This module creates an llms.txt file for your Magento store.

The purpose of this file is to present important storefront content in a clearer format for AI tools, content discovery systems, and similar services.

With this module, you can:

  • include the main parts of your storefront content
  • control what appears in the file
  • add helpful business details
  • refresh the file manually or automatically
  • support more than one store view

2. Where to Find the Settings

Open the module settings from either of these locations:

  • Stores > Configuration > Eleventex > LLMs TXT Generator
  • Eleventex > LLMs TXT Generator > Settings

3. Set Up the Basic Information

In the main settings area, you can:

  1. enable the module
  2. enter the license key if your project requires one
  3. add your company name
  4. add a company description
  5. add any extra business information you want included

These details help introduce your store in the generated file.

4. Choose How Often the File Updates

You can decide when the file should be refreshed.

Available options:

  • Manual
  • Hourly
  • Twice Daily
  • Daily
  • Weekly

If you choose a scheduled option, you can also select the preferred time.
If you choose Weekly, you can also select the preferred weekday.

5. Generate the File Manually

Use the manual generation option when you want to refresh the file immediately.

This is especially useful after:

  • changing module settings
  • updating included content
  • preparing to review the output on the storefront

6. Choose What Content to Include

The module allows you to include the main content types from your store:

  • CMS pages
  • products
  • categories

For each content type, you can:

  • enable or disable it
  • add extra details such as descriptions or metadata
  • exclude specific items you do not want to publish

7. Add Access Information

You can also include access-related information in the generated file.

This may include:

  • base rate
  • burst rate
  • authentication
  • retention
  • commercial use
  • attribution

These settings help describe how the content may be accessed or used.

8. Multi-Store Support

If your Magento store uses multiple store views, the module supports that setup automatically.

In general:

  • the default store uses the main llms.txt file
  • additional store views can have their own llms.txt files
  • the main file can include a store list when more than one store view is active

This helps keep storefront content clear across all stores.

9. What the Generated File Can Contain

Depending on your settings, the generated file can include:

  • company information
  • access information
  • CMS pages
  • categories
  • products

If extra fields are enabled, the file can also include more descriptive details for each item.

Follow this order for a smooth setup:

  1. enable the module
  2. enter the license key if needed
  3. add company details
  4. configure access information
  5. choose the content types to include
  6. enable any extra details you want to publish
  7. exclude any items that should not appear
  8. choose the update schedule
  9. run a manual generation
  10. review the output on the storefront

11. Check the Result

After setup, review the generated file on your storefront.
